About Us

I'm Jay Bridges, a Santa Monica-based mortgage broker with over 20 years of experience helping clients across California finance homes and investment properties. I specialize in jumbo and luxury purchases, non-QM and bank statement programs for self-employed borrowers, and complex scenarios that most lenders walk away from. I also work closely with first-time homebuyers — taking the time to actually explain the process, walk through every option, and make sure you understand exactly what you're signing up for. Most lenders don't do that. I actually care and like to take the time.

As an independent broker, I'm not locked into one lender's rates or products. I work with a wide network of lending partners, which means I can match your specific situation to the right program — often with better terms than a bank can offer.

A Los Angeles native, I grew up in Pasadena and attended Loyola High School before earning a degree in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara, where I was a member of the crew team. Mortgage runs in the family — I followed my father's path into the industry and have spent the last decade building on it here in Santa Monica.

When I'm not working through a complex loan scenario, you'll find me on the water paddle boarding, exploring the local food and wine scene, or spending time with my family.
